grandpa turned 90.

went to kentucky last weekend for a wonderful weekend with the family. grandpa turned 90 and trudy and phil were nice enough to host all the family at forest retreat for the weekend.

i was horrible and didn't take many pictures with my camera, however i have poached a lot from jimmy and tommy.

the weekend started with a trip to keeneland, always a wonderful place to go. we placed bets, but to my knowledge no one won anything.

walking around the show area.

after the races we headed out to the farm. that friday night we had a family dinner, then on saturday trudy hosted a large bbq for family/friends. lots of eating and socializing. jennifer even saddled up the horses so we could go for a ride! i went through and picked out some random pictures to post.

drove out in the porsche.

thanks so much to trudy and phil for hosting such a wonderful weekend. also thanks to everyone who came to the bbq. grandpa had a wonderful time, i don't think i have ever seen him smile so much. time to start planning the big 1-0-0...
